17th February 2008 - Anarchy Andy defeats Vampiro at Bravo Zero to unify the HIW and World Heavyweight Championships into the Elite Championship
10th March 2008 - Anarchy Andy manages to round off a great year by retaining the championship against Vampiro
20th April 2008 - Anarcchy Andy retains the title against Vampiro, however Vampiro tricked him before hand to make him sign the pink slip, meaning Anarchy Andy leaves HIW and the title is vacated

The Rock 18/05/2008 - 22/06.2008
18th May 2008 - The Rock manages to win the Elimination Chamber after a People's Elbow to Edge becoming the new Elite Champion
Mr. Kennedy 22/06/2008 - 27/07/2008
22nd June 2008 - After a gruelling match, Kennedy connects with a Kennton Bomb from the top of a ladder to become the latest Elite Champion.
22 June 2008 - With 'a little' assistance from The Rock, Kennedy defeats Mr. Money in the Bank Y2J to retain his title just minutes after he won it.

27th July 2008 - After winning the number one contendership a few weeks before, Young took on Kennedy at Heatwave and managed to bring the championship home for Vital Signs
